Graham Stoker chooses Vice Presidents for Sport across Europe
17 November 2021: FIA Presidential Candidate Graham Stoker has selected his Vice President candidates for Europe.
Hermann Tomczyk, Honorary President of the Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club (ADAC), Europe’s largest motoring organization, has been chosen to continue as Vice President for Europe (with responsibility for Western Europe). A former rally driver and competitor in the European Touring Car Championship, Tomczyk has been a Member of the FIA World Motor Sport Council since 2013. He has also been an International Steward for DTM and Formula 1.
Zrinko Gregurek, Member and former Secretary General of the Croatian Car & Karting Federation, has been chosen as Vice President for Europe (with responsibility for Eastern Europe). A former athlete, he competed as a racing driver across circuit, hill climb and rally events. He is the current FIA Coordinator and President of the FIA Central European Zone, a Member of the FIA World Motor Sport Council and long-term Member of the Croatian Olympic Committee.
Hermann Tomczyk said: “There is no doubt that Graham has strongly developed the sporting side of the FIA whilst he has been Deputy President and I am certain that he is the right person to lead the Federation at this important time. He will ensure that motor sport has a strong foundation as it emerges from the pandemic and will lead its continued development across Europe and the rest of the World.”
Zrinko Gregurek said: “I’m honoured to be nominated as an FIA Vice President for Europe and look forward to working with Graham to further develop motor sport. More than ever our sport needs experienced leadership and in Graham and his team we can trust that they will work in the best interests of all.”
Graham Stoker said: “I’m delighted that Hermann and Zrinko have agreed to join my team.
Hermann is a figurehead for European motor sport who represents Germany through the DMSB and one of the biggest FIA clubs ADAC. It is a real privilege to have his support and his deep experience.
“Zrinko is a true leader for motor sport in Central and Eastern Europe and is a great ambassador for the whole region. His work across the region, his deep knowledge of our Clubs, and his strong links with the Olympic movement are invaluable.
“I look forward to working with both of them as we ensure that the future of motor sport is strong, accessible, diverse and available to all.”
